Zig Zag Quilt

For Christmas, Jenny gave me a half yard of thirteen modern fabrics.
She had made a zig zag quilt last year, so I thought this would be a great pattern for the fabric she gave me.
I decided to add both saffron yellow and charcoal gray as my solids.
It is large enough to go on my king size bed.
I am contemplating adding a six inch solid white border all around so that I could also use it as a bedspread if I wanted to.
It was fun to make and I am also including some pictures of the process.
PIECING TIP:  use flat head pins and write the row or column number on them to keep your rows organized during piecing or moving blocks from one location to another.
