Wonderful Woolies

One of my favorite things to make are "Wonderful Woolies."  They can be made out of bits of wool and fabric.  This year family received a 'sheep' to go with last year's 'Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus'.  I have also made a few Santas and this one went to my Mom for Christmas.  They are a lot of fun to make and it has taken me a while to make the face look good.

Missionary Special

This is a special gift for a special friend of my daughter. I made my own pattern, and originally it was going to be a pillow case, but it was too striking to fold in half, and only be able to see half of it at a time.  Now it can be a wall hanging or a table topper because it is not quite big enough for a lap quilt.  I love the horizontal quilting lines and it kept this quilt from looking too feminine.  I had a lot of problems with thread breakage on this quilt, and I am not sure why.

Christmas Gifts

I am not saying which one is for whom.  I just hope everyone likes the one they receive!

Sampler Quilts

I have been helping some of my friends learn to quilt by making small sampler quilts.  Here are two more that have finished piecing them and then I quilt them for them.  Jenny asked if the top quilt was a panto?  It is not this is a quilt pattern I have used over the years that has become one of my free-hand all over designs.  It looks great on everything!
