Design from Stash

I love to create quilts from my stash.  I know I have great fabric but I just haven't found the right pattern or design for it.  Last summer I bought two pieces of Michael Miller fabric on sale while vacationing.  My niece is getting married next week and I procrastinated a quilt for her because we have a few other crazy things going on (we are moving to Phoenix AZ at the end of May!!!!).  I could visualize this quilt before I even started cutting and I love how it turned out. Did I say how much I love it???!!!  The design is simple so that the large scale fabric is the star of the show.
I quilted it with an all-over feather.

    Okay..first off your last post was in Feb!!! Your a horrible blogger, but I still love you! I love how this quilt turned out and love that fabric! I like what you did with it! Can't wait to see you in a couple of weeks!!

    Guess we can't fuss at you too much about not blogging since you're about to move. :) What a lovely gift for the new bride! You are right, those pretty flowers deserve to be showcased - very nice!
