Mom's Basket Quilt

Years ago mom and I began some basket blocks.  My mom chose some Civil War reproduction prints and she machine appliqued six flower blocks.  When she visited a few weeks ago she brought her blocks and finished the applique and then pieced them together.  I did a very small stipple around the applique and on the outer edges of the applique blocks.  I like the small applique because it looks like small pebbling but is much easier to do.  It is a very beautiful quilt with great color.
