Back to Nature

Sharlot pieced this beautiful quilt!  At first we had talked about an all-over panto, but as I looked at it closer, it was begging for some custom quilting...  The title 'Back to Nature' gave me lots of  organic ideas, so I picked a few quilting patterns to carry throughout the quilt and then I got started.  I especially love the hook feather/vine in the boarder.  It was fun to quilt and Sharlot and I love how it turned out.  Many thanks to Myrna Ficken.  I took a custom quilting class from her two weeks ago and I used many of the things she taught us in her class....

  4. NICE!!! Those hook feathers look like mine. Maybe it's because your my sister and we have the same machine with/out a regulator. And were alike. :)
I like all the different designs you used through out...especially the feather with the circles on one side.
