This is a beautiful quilt my favorite mother-in-law did.  I love the reds, purples, browns, and creams she used.

New Granite Counter Tops!!!

This week we had granite counter tops installed in our kitchen.  They are gorgeous!  This will make all my sewing projects easier and nicer because everything looks better with granite counter tops!  Of course we had to put in a new sink and faucet to go with the granite. 

Shepard's Fold Quilt

My mother-in-law made this quilt last Christmas and I fell in love with it, so she loaned me the pattern and I just finished it this week.  I still  need to sew down the binding but I couldn't wait to post it.  I love the background quilting I did on the sheep blocks.  It was easy, fun and my brain didn't have to work too hard.
I still have to add teeny tine buttons for the sheep's and shephard's eyes
